Feature:1. The wiring of this voltmeter is simple. The conventional two wires are used, the red is connected to the positive, the black is connected to the negative, and the reverse connection is protected.
2. Conventionally, no external working power supply is required, and the measuring voltage can be directly operated. The measuring voltage range is two-wire 2.50-30V, three-wire 100V.
3. Wide voltage operation, red 2.50V low and safe pressure up to 40V, more than 40V may be damaged.
4. When measuring voltages below 10V, two digits are displayed after the decimal point; when measuring voltages above 10V, one digit is displayed after the decimal point.
Measuring range
Three-wire DC0-100V / 500V
Power supply range
No need to supply power separately. The measured voltage <40V, higher than 40V may be damaged.
Very nice little DC volt meter boards. I did need to tweak the trim pot on the back. I paired with a USB decoy board so I can easily tell if the charger puts out 5, 9, or 12 volts. Small enough to mount on that little board.
Some times smaller is better. And the price is right.
Tip: if your application is between 0 and 40 VDC max, just put a jumper on the board between the points for yellow and red wires and eliminate the yellow wire. Then use red (+) and black (-) to connect to the device under test. Voila, simple. (NOTE: if your source possibly could be in excess of 40 VDC then do not use this tip).

Don't understand 3 wire hookup, I will measure 42v
