Documentation:
You can find the firmware source code and documentation on Github, as well as nodemcu-flasher, a Windows only tools to flash the firmware to a module. Thereu2019s also a separate tool called esptool that will let you flash nodemcu from Linux. If you find the documentation is all over the place, you might want to checkout NodeMCU video tutorial below.
Nodemcu.com is the official website for the project, but youu2019ll find more information on Github. You can also get answers to your questions on their BBS orESP8622 community forums.
Package included: 1 x ESP8266 CP2102 Development Board
I have the currently z.Z. Current Arduino IDE downloaded (runs however probably from 1.6.5) and me the driver for the chipset installed.
For Settings -> Additional Bords Manager URLs
Http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json
enter.
In the Borard selection in the list above, the board manger start.
In the search bar you then enter ESP and select the driver.
Finished. Maybe restart again.

Although this is designed to act as a sort of Node.js type server, what's great about it is that drivers exist so this can be programmed via the Arduino IDE. I've got mine connecting to my wifi network and pulling down my YouTube statistics which it displays on a little LED panel. Very inexpensive and easy to put together

Q:
Do these support I2C? I notice that other NodeMCU boards don't - Thanks for showing that with the other boards BTW.

Hi Geekcreit, I see you sell different ESP8266 development boards, particularly Banggood item ID 1097112 and 1109512, what are the differences? Thanks.

Where to find schematic for this board?
I have flashed this board with EspHome no problem, but some pins seem to be connected to LEDs like GPIO2 and 16, and others seems to have standard pullup or pulldowns, but I can't find a schematic for this board, is this a NodeMCU v1.0 or v2.0 schematic?
